My bike takes that long to warm up as well...I leave the choke out for a 1/4 to 1/2 mile and then kick it off and the bike is fine...I don't think anything is wrong with my bike...just a typical cold natured carburetor. I used to have a hotrod car that would act the same way.
Is the dealer charging you for there trial an error approach?

I stopped using full choke when it's warm outside. Half choke to start and no choke when it'll run by itself. after a couple of minutes at idle, it runs great. Didn't do that until i cleaned the carbon out. I was doing the full choke for 30 seconds, half choke for 2-3 minutes and no choke till the throttle snaps lively, but that's what helped carbon it up to begin with.

Wow, I thought I was the only one! I took mine several time since the bike was new for the sdame problem and they never fixed or it wouldnt act up for them. so they say. Anyway, after some trial and error. I stopped using that crappy ethanol based gas and started using super unleaded. Stopped using choke when cold. I think I have a rich cond anyways. It has run fine since. Hasnt bucked since I changed to super and stopped using the choke when it's cold. The dealer could never figure it out.

Since I live in Florida I don't have severe cold to worry about. In the summer I pump the throttle twice to prime it and hit the start button, in about thirty seconds I put it in gear and away we go. In the winter I use the choke but have it off a couple miles after leaving home.

Mine will buck if I let it idle down the street when leaving the house w/ the choke 1/2 out. All I do is down shift and give her some gas......problem solved. give her another couple of miles and hit the rev limiter a few times
Mine is also an 07
