4" up, 1 1/2" back .. stock cables and lines.
I have the PRO ONE set up with a tach as well. What do I use it for? I know what
RPM what MPH equates too and since it is much more in the plain line of site, I use it to watch my speed. 2,000 in 5th is about 62 MPH or so.
My opnion on being embarassed on having a tach on a low reving machine ... any engine can be over reved and the Roadie motors with just an Air Kit and pipes can hit red line damn fast. An extra 500 PRMs on the large, bulky and heavy valve trains of a V-Twin is a lot of extra weight being tossed around. Don't be embarassed, I was a bit surprise there was no tach since in teh past 33 years every bike I ever owned came with a tach standard. The low
rev engine does not need a tach response never sat well with me. In other words, anyone want to take a pot shot at you for a tach, ignore 'em. Odds are they are short shifting their motor anyway.
