I have a dyna 3000 .Don,t have paper work with it.
I thinking the setting should be at 32B 04 R*.
Does this sound right?

B side is for internal modified engine.

A side is for stock engine.

Try 32 first then go to 34 and then 36. If it pings go back one setting.

Hey Doc....I have had my Dyna for a year now, and to this day no body has explained the differences between the 30,32,34, etc settings....I always though that the higher the number or setting=more timing advance.....could you explain this to me in lamens terms? I'd appreciate it

You understand it well in layman's terms.

Check this out .... http://www.dynaonline.com/english/instruct/D3K7-3.pdf

It should explain better than I can.

I don't know much more beyond the basic info.
