I switched over at 600 miles to Yamaha 15-50 full syn. At 4000 miles, I switched over to Amsoil 20-50 syn. I now have alittle over 8000 miles on the bike (2006 RS). No regrets. I hope you enjoy your Road Star as much as I am enjoying mine.
