Where did I put the plates on the baffles??

I cut the baffles almost in two with a hacksaw and brazed the plate with the holes in it in the slot I cut. I bought the plate with the holes from a metal supply place in town (there is a name for the plate, but I can't think of it now). I put two of the plates in each baffle about a third of the way from each end. Then wrapped the whole thing with the fiberglass packing sheet and held the packing down with wire. It has a real nice sound and not too loud.

It has lasted about 8K miles so far with no problems. My buddy at the bike shop where I got the packing said it will eventually blow out and have to be replaced.
