That is a matter of opinion...it won't hurt to run a little in every tank. Personally I think it matters how often you fill the tank or should I say how often you burn a full tank. If you use the bike daily and fill it every week then I would say maybe once a month run some. If you are like most and only fill your bike every couple months I would use it every time. There is also a shock treatment you can do before a oil change which uses more seafoam to correct an already existing problem like SVS. The exact procedure is listed on this site somewhere. I am sure someone will chime in with the exact location of the article. Good Luck!

Mr Shamrock, Im still not real familiar with the clinic on how to find certain things so could you or someone tell where the article is on the shock treatment, or give the jist on how the shock treatment is done. Thanks.

I have been getting to ride several times a week so I do go through some gas,87oct., but havn't done that "ride it like you stole it" deal jet. "Jet" . To my knowledge it has no mods, other than Vance&Hines short pipes, and not being up to on all the add ons and the terminology for them, that is about the only way I know to describe the pipes. I'll have to depend on you guys,(& gals),to educate me on the jargon. I guess I will go ahead and change the oil and filter, plugs, and add some sea foam to the next tank. What else would you reccomend I do while the hands are dirty, and I'm not riding anyway?I am trying to send a photo, but I havn't had much luck with that trick yet. Hope my mechanic skills are better than the computer skills !

Man - 8 tanks in 6 days. You are definitely logging some miles on that scoot! Were you driving cross country or something?

I guess I'm a slacker. I drive 120,000 miles a year and only get to ride about 1000. Kind of hard to ride when I'm not home to ride.

I guess you need to figure out if your carb has been rejetted, if it hasn't, then all you may need to do is tweak the pms. If it has, it shouldn't have been...

From your comment Flashback, you don't think rejetting is a good idea, or not necessary. I don't think it has had anything done to it,other than the pipes. As far as tweeking PMS, i'm sure there is a good tech article on that proceedure, any one in particular?
