A slightly more agressive cam profile might be of interest. Many other Mopars use them but that narrows it down a bit. Stock lifters are not made in Japan for these bikes. They are made here in the good ‘ol USA. Most engineers over there consider a push rod engine inferior, and they are for the most part compared to over head cam engines. The cam lobe and lifter rub together, and when one goes it takes the other with it. When you replace a cam also replace every lifter that it operates. If you don't you will be doing it again!
