Re:Tire Pressure 2 Years, 2 Months ago
This is a loaded question, You really should ask the people who make the tire you will run, and you must know the weight you will run on each tire respectively. (nearly impossible to overload a front)

You should read here:
http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/infocenter_tiretips.asp?id=3#tip

Tire pressure is about you, your bike, the weather, the terrain, the load, the tire manufacture, the type bike it's on, where you will ride, one up, two up, rain, snow, sleet, hail, very hot, very cold, very light, very heavy, and a heck of a lot more, way way way past just the owners manual.

I'm running Avon gangsters, with the wide white wall. My tire pressure is as per the recommend tire pressure for the bike.

MS1700 ,
What does the sidewall of your rear tire say?
I'll bet it's double the load of that link.
And that's why I may have one soon.
