Chrome Flexible Conduit 7 Years, 3 Months ago
Hello,

I have 1/4" OD metal spiral flexible solid chrome conduit which hides and protects the two wires from the spot lights to relay etc.

Does any one know where you can purchase this.

There is the flexible plastic split or open weave versions avaliable but I can not find the above type.

Thanks

Welcome darryl

Just my 2 cents but I would rather use the plastic since the metal conducts electricity.

Dishwasher hose.

Go to the hardware store and buy some dishwasher inlet hose. It comes in various lengths and is braided stainless.

Cut off a length that you need with a Dremel. Don't use a hacksaw as it will cause to much fraying. Make it a bit longer as the ends will unravel a bit.

Compress the stainless steel sleeve so that you can remove the inner tube. Just like the Chinese handcuffs.

Remove the connectors from the wires and thread the wires through the ss sleeve.

I also put shrinkwrap on the ends to help prevent the sleeve from unraveling.
