Yes that is a known problem with R*'s they don't like to be trailered they want to be rode!

For some reason I seem to burn a couple of fuses each time I trasport her on a trailer.

Maybe you are pinching wires with the restraining straps.

I looked all over this thread, and all the way through the owners manual and there is NO PLACE that says this bike can be trailered, so DON'T DO IT!~

Yes... I have learned that the hard way (and by catching flak from those on here)... but in reality it did happen the 2 times I had to trailer it.... and trust me there is nothing more embarrassing then tailoring your R*.......

There may be something to this trailering thing. I took a trailer to Tulsa after work and looked at my Roadie, checked it out {Ran fine} I trailered it home [Didn't think it wise to ride a strange bike 2 1/2 hrs in the dark.] got home pulled it off the trailer and the #@%% wouldn't start!!!!!! The next day I put a new battery in it and she hasn't let me down since!!! She hasn't been on a trailer since!

See that proves my point. Trailers are for towing behind your R*'s

Welcome to the site, I had the same problem when I got my 05 R* I have a load tester that I normally use for generator service and my battery tested ok and I checked it probably 10 times. I put up with the slow start for a while and hot it was really slow sometimes I would have to bump the starter a few times to get it going and finally pulled the battery and took it to the battery store and the guy load tested and said it was good, and after we talked a little while about the problem he hooked it up to a different load tester I think it was made by Auto Meter and set the tester to the CCH of the battery and it tested bad. replaced battery with the 310CCH battery and no more problems.

I hope you got it back running the way you want. I would say its a weak battery like all the rest, but being in michigan we have to much down time and a trickle charger stays handy for all the winter months it gets parked and the battery stays up to snuff.
Good Luck,
Paul
