I'm not familiar with lubriplate is #130AA. You need a lubricant with molybdenum disulfide in it.

I don't know what you can get in your area so I'm hesitant to suggest anything http://www.onoffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=TORCO-LUBRICANTS-MPZ-CAM&Category_Code=TORCO-AUTOMOTIVE-LUBRICANTS

Try the local machine shop where they sell the lifters. They should have something.

Something that I was not aware of, and probably was not critical 5 years ago when I did my lifters, is the high rate of cam failure .... http://forums.noria.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/616604995/m/3011052071

Both the lube and oil you used could be the cause of your failure

I've used (in auto applications) a product by STA-LUBE. It's an engine assembly lube with moly-graphite for cranks, cams lifters,etc... It's a CRC product. Never used it where motor oil contacts clutch parts though, so....... Here's a customer service # for them 1-800-272-8963 (on the tube). Hope it helps, BB.

Finally got the 03 back together Monday. Used the CRC lube. Seemed to work fine. Got the HT2011 lifters at the auto parts store. They pre-loaded just a little as we torqued down the rocker plates. It is completely void of lifter tick now. Hope that holds out, as that is what started all this mess. New cam set, 279.00+ shipping. Lifters about 4 bucks a pop. CRC Assembly lube 7 bones. oil, 2.79 per quart. Filter 5.39. Not hearing that damned ticking lifter noise anymore..... PRICELESS!!

Now I gotta run it in a bit and get it back on synthetic oil.
