You can use a hydraulic car jack between the the sub frame and spread it out a little to gain more room. Grind the bolts and you can do like Gram said as well. I wouldn't grind off the sub frame as it tend to crack as it is.

18" The diameter of the wheel/tire is almost identical to the Stock 16" wheel/tire setup. Doc
