MightyRoadStar (and anyone else) let me know how the replacement goes. I was looking at those same coils but need to save more money before I go down that road. Maybe in a few months I can do this mod.

Sorry, missed your post.

They were Accel.

You don't need the resistors in the boots.

Doc - no worries. I went the lazy route and bought the wires from MaxAir - I can always change later with the aftermarket coils

Check out SS Custom Cycle. The ones they carry will raise an eyebrow or two. 10.4mm ThunderVolt 50 is what I'm going to put when I install the Dyna Coils.
