i thought that might help, i just received confirmation from cruiser customizing tech support that the oil pump would fit our stock engines. i think those who are still worried if their recall was done or not shouldnt have an execuse now.
cheers and ride safe.

Well guys It is fixed. It was a broke oil pump gear the whole time. I have posted many threads on this problem, and alot of you guys helped me figure out what it was. Symptoms of bad lifters, stuck valves, bad fuel air mixture, resulting in fouling plugs. These are all things that one should check the oil pressure first thing. I never, in any one of my threads had someone suggest I check to see if oil was pumping. Not a problem, just want to share the info. I ran my bike countless minuets trying to figure out what was wrong, or running deep creep. Which couldn't have been good not getting any oil. But with all my bad luck, she started right up and ran like a champ. I have put over 220 miles on my rodie since friday night. (1:30 am) If you find this thread in a serch for svs, spitting carb, foul plugs, collapsed or bad lifters, knock coming from the rod. Check the oil pressure some how. Not too hard, but may save someone alot of headach. Thanks again clinic. Proud to be a member.

Waiting for my new oil pump gear to get here. Mine was the old one so I am glad I took the bike down to replace. Just sucks now with all the GREAT weather we have been having in eastern NC. But I guess it is better to be safe than sorry.

Cruiser Customizing. They said it should ship about 13 Apr. But that is okay I am getting a Barnett Clutch plate and spring upgrade from Clifford and it should be here about middle next week also.
This just gives me time to think of other upgrades. Think I am going to change my lifters out for the Jeep ones HT-2011. Been having some problems with the front cylinder and having to adjust valves about once a month or so. Last couple of times I have noticed some up and down play on the exhaust valve side. The other 3 are tight as can be just this one moves up and down so for about $15 and change I am going to swap out the lifters.

I guess there was a run on these gears. I am thinking Cruiser Customizing are also on hold for a shipment. So did the shipping cost you much?? I know it isn't that cheap shipping to where you are.
