for those who replace stator - gasket removal 2 Years, 1 Month ago  
wtf did you use to scrape the gasket off on the left side (decompression solenoid side) of the cover on engine side. i can barley get my finger in there.

I used a putty knife and sharpened the blade a lil better than when it comes new... taped off around the area, and sprayed gasket remover... and it all came off fairly easy... make sure to tape off the paint on the engine if you use the gasket remover spray... it will take off yer paint... dont ask how I know this ... I just do

crap i forgot all about gasket remover spray, ill pick some up today! thanks for the tape tip!
