Wife has her own bike and I only know one sign language, always seems to get me into trouble, either way is flys!

Took the bike to the dealer today as I am disabled and able to do only the most minor wrenching and they said the belt was with in all specs and to put a small amount of baby powder on the belt which they did at the shop, it did quiet down but has yet to stop.

I asked if there was any kind of belt spray and they said that Yamaha told them baby powder was the way to go, seems rather odd to me, any one heard of this?

I hear ya if it is belt squeal it will work. don't use belt dressing (don't ask) it gets messy
