I rode the bike to work one day about 2 weeks ago, bike was in the parking lot and it came a hard rain for over an hour..got on the bike to go home and it was running horrible, stumbling, sometimes running like on one cylinder, thought I wasn't going to get it home..after that it acted up some but week end before last I rode the bike 130 miles, when I first took off after fueling up it ran some sick for about 3 miles then ran fine, infact about half that trip was in a hard rain and it ran like a clock.. but now, its doing it again, it seems very rich at idle and seems like a plug or two is dead and then sometimes its running on one cylinder, warm, cold, don't matter, I put new plugs in and at idle all the wires are firing..I'm at a lost big time...its had 3 tanks of gas since it all started and I got some out of it tonight and its clean.

Ol..bike is dead stock other then bubs exhaust and I'm running the baffles

After you put the new plugs in it was still missfiring.

When you start it up and run for about a minute, which pipe is cold.

I would run some fuel system cleaner or seafoam for a few tank fulls..and check the air filter as well..

I would drain the float bowl for 1, then set the petcock on reserve and start draining there as well into a jar and check for water, if the tank has water, you will see it collect in the jar. To me that is the most obvious since it sat in a hard rain.

neither pipe is cold, I run seafoam every other tank and I drained the fuel from tank...it was clean. The deal in the carb that closes it off if the bike turns over on its side..its black and its before the butterfly, should it be all the way up or half way down? it has half the carb blocked.

Does it seem to run better with a full tank vs 1/2 tank or less?

It did worse this last time right after I filled it up with gas

Does it stumble on idle, or under load?

far worse when I'm riding it...idles pretty good
