Don't forget to order the bearings for the suspension link from a dealer. Here are the part numbers, notice the first number you need a quantity of 2. Don't want you to be disappointed when you get the suspension link and don't have bearings for it.
Bearing Part #'s
93317-41761-00 qty. - 2
93317-42060-00 qty. - 1
93317-31771-00 qty. - 1

This is where I bought mine, best price I could find on the web and about $35 cheaper than the local dealer.
Good Luck with it, I think your making the right choice.

Hey I bought my boulevard windscreen from them, you are rite they do have great prices... And thank you for the part numbers that saved me a lot of time...
I was thinking can you take out the bearings out of the stock one and use it in the Barons?

Highway1700; I'll throw in my $.02. I did the flip, without changing the spring. It lowered the rear about 2". It looks great. I did adjust the spring to a stiffer setting. I am about 225lbs, and have not experienced any bottoming out, or dragging of pipes. The floor boards have scrapped many times, but that was expected. I don't ride two-up very often (hard to get away with the little ones at home), but even the odd time my wife is along, it hasn't been an issue.
For the money, $0, I was really happy the way it all turned out.

That's correct galban. It's all an illusion.
At stock height in the rear and up 1 3/4" over stock at the front pegs I've already noticeably ground down my FCs on turns so there's no way I'm lowering mine.
I have thought about an air kit so that it would look cool parked.

Well, dang - that's cool! I keep thinking about lowering mine, but I scrape on a regular basis stock and I'm worried about making it worse. Gotta love the way they look though... I saw that rear fender mod to lower the rear fender for Road*s but didn't think that would play nice with the passenger seat. Any thoughts?

There's two ways to lower the fender. You'll find one way on my site.
The other way is to grind down the front 'knobs' of the fender. The more you grind , the more the rear of the fender moves down; however, the fender is not symmetrical around the tire.
Both ways does do not compromise the passenger.
