creaking in ape hangers 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
I have noticed a creaking in my ape hangers the last little while. I have looked them over but I don't see any cracks starting so I'm wondering if this is normal? I put steel washers under my risers to help stiffen it up and just after that is when I noticed the noise. Is this a normal thing? I've never heard it with any other types of bars but I know these are not your typical smaller bar.

sounds like a strong correlation between the washers and the noise. I wonder if a dab of grease where the two metal surfaces meet would quiet things down?
