My front end, and I'm assuming it's my brakes at this point, is making noise when I'm at around 5-10 miles an hour. It's usually more noticable when slowing down than when starting off. It isn't loud, and unless you're on the bike, you probably wouldn't hear it if in a car or another bike next to me. I can feel a bit of resistance coming from the front end when the noise is happening, but as I speed up, it releases and everything is fine. The noise isn't a squealing, isn't a qrinding, probably closer to a rubbing sound, but not really noticeable.
I'm more concerned about the resistance than the noise. I'm going to bleed my brakes tonight and see what that gets me. I'm doing a 100+ run tomorrow and the brakes are working fine at all speeds, and there are no leaks anywhere.
Anyone have any ideas what this may be? I'll let you know how the brake bleed goes......
To be quite honest, the Roadie may have gotten wind of me and the wife talking about sending it out to pasture for an '08 HD Ultra Classic when they hit the street. Looked at the Ventures, but really like the look and ride of the Ultra. Sorry gents.....love my R*, and if I could talk the wife into keeping it in the garage with the Ultra I'd love to mod it to 1-up for myself, but there's no way she's going for that one.....YET!!
