I have a 05 Roadie and installed HardKrome k-2s on it and love the looks but would like to reduce the noise level. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've seen the article on using Danco Crumb Cups but it was for 3" mine are 2 3/4.

Jimmy,

You can use anything that is flat to somewhat restrict the flow of gases. The flow of gases can go around the restriction or through holes in the restriction.

Try rounding a piece of 2 2/4 inch flat plate, drilling holes in it and then spot welding it inside the pipe.

I've also used large heavy duty washers.
