#33657 kometmotor (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 4 Rev Limiter??? 1 Year, 4 Months ago   Can anyone tell me what RPM the rev limiter kicks in? I have an 01' and want to make sure I'm not dealing with a fueling problem at the upper rpm. From various sources I thought it was 4250. I'm running a Dyna 3000 bumped to 5000. This motorcycle does not have a tachometer. However, it is equipped with an engine revolution limiter, which prevents the engine revolution from exceeding approximately 4,400 r/min. If you check the Dyno runs on the Star site you will also see that the stock runs end at about 4400. I've also heard the 4250 number but I don't know where it comes from. The lowest setting on the Dyna is 4250 so maybe it was assumed that the stock setting was 4250. I did a search for topic and people that test road the Road*. You get fromm 4000 to 4400 as the stock rev limiter.
