I used a piece of 3&quot;x1.5&quot; flat bar painted it black. The top hole is used by the highway bars and the bottom just far enough down to clear the base of the bars. I will try to get a close up so you can see. 2. The filter I used came from my Honda VF 700 when I was looking at the adapter I noticed the base was wide and I had the filter laying around. The filter is bettween 3&quot; and 3.25&quot; around which looks better. That and the cooler I thought it would have more oil out of the engine and cool better. This Idea you get all the credit, a low cost killer chrome oil cooler system, just under $120.00 way cheaper then the $300.00 plus one and loooooks way better and as you said more chrome and better cooling we win......
