Hi GUS

Removing the AIS system is purely cosmetic. The engine won't run any better or any worse. Removal shouldn't adversely affect your warranty but I suppose that all depends on what kind of relationship you have with your dealer.

I brought my bike in for a warranty issue (leaking intake manifold) after I removed the AIS and it wasn't a problem.

If your concerned ask your dealer in advance. And you never know, maybe he can get you a good deal on the kit.

Hope this helps.

removing the ais will in most cases get rid of the popping on decel., other than that it seems to be cosmetic.
