You want a sweet air cleaner, give some consideration to MrC's universal K&N set up. I went that route and loved it! It's tucked in real tight, out of the way, and only about $42!

It's the RA 077V. The RC 1980 is another fine choice as well. I put that one on my second R*.

He started to clean his bike up yesterday afternoon, and went to take his bags off. Well, one of the bolts decided to freeze and got stripped by a hand wrench. So...he cut it off. lol!

I'm sure today will contain a trip to Lowe's to find a replacement bolt since his bike looks strange without the bags.

Those are pretty sweet Quest, I like simple.

Question though, with the filter being open to the elements, would it need to be covered if I got caught in a rain storm?

Does the K&N attach only to the carb, or, does it attach to the jugs also?

Then be careful the weight of it and viberation doesn't dislodge your carb

Oh its on there with a pretty serious bracket, when hubs took it off yesterday he was cursing like a sailor.

Everything seems to be good to go on her now, but hopefully get to go for a run today to let her shake the dust off.
