SO I'm polishing Thunder the other day and I stepped back to review my handywork and I noticed that my tailpipes ( Cobras LoBoy shotguns) from where the tailpipes slide into the headers is turning yellow. But only from the clamp back.

I'm new to all this, so this could be a stupid question, but, what gives?


Any thoghts?

You probably have a full coverage heat shiel that covers the header section and therefore you cannot see the bluing on the head pipes. I had the same on my old bike.
