03 1600 transmission problems 4 Years, 10 Months ago
HI all,

My friend has an 03 1600. He had the transmission recall done. and a year later when he shifts into 5th gear it falls between gears from what I understand basicly neutral. So he can only go up to 4th. 5th gear drops. any ideas what might cause this?

cheers

Have an 03 also but dealer repaired when they got the bike. That was one of the first things on my &hit list before I laid out the cash. There's a link here on site that gives you the CD version of the manual for the R*. Here's the address: http//www.ras123.com-roadstar-docs.htm for it. Maybe it'll help you. Good luck!
