Thanks, not trying to hijack the post here, but when my wife said "what do you want for our Anniversary", I took her straight to the Jireh web site and she ordered away! I'm not hard to please, Performance parts or chrome make my day. BB

My Roadstar was not a Sivlerado-added the passing lamps afterwards. So, shouldn't that get me past the wiring modification?....

Thanks for the info, Doc.

Happy Anniversary.

What's your wife's e-mail? I have some bling I'd like to get for my bike that I'd like to show her.

In that case you should be OK.

I assume you just wired them into a hot and put in an on/off switch?

Doc did you have a 1700 module in before you went to the dyna 3000?
Just wondering I noticed a good gain going to the 1700 module in my 1600, and how much more gain would be in the 3000? Yea I got the bug always wanting more, kinda like lays tator chips.....

I wanted a 1700, SpeedStar or Dyna module in that order.

I could not find a 1700 a the time and the Dyna worked out to be cheaper than the SpeedStar. That's why I ended up with the Dyna.

For the money, I don't think the SpeedStar or Dyna will give the 1600 much more of an improvement over the 1770. It appears that the different curve setting for the Dyna do not significantly change HP and Torque values.

The addition of pipes and air box increases rpm at which peak HP is produced so this is the area where you'll see the improvement with the addition on any of the 3.

Thanks Doc. I am pleased with the 1700. I guess I am as far as I can go without going inside the motor. I am not really intended on doing that, but if I ever do need a rebuild I will do some upgrading, but I hope thats many years down the road.
