highway bars or crash bars 1 Year, 4 Months ago
hello all,

Thanks to everyone who help me with my question about which pipes to go with...I went with the HK 3's and love that they are loud and absolutely obnoxious!!!!!

Heres my next question, Does anyone have any input on highway bars over crash bars.
I have put a kury hypercharger on my bike and need to be able to move my legs on longer rides..im too short i guess.. but any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have the Yamaha Big Bars and love them. Added foot pegs and I can vary position on long rides enough to keep rolling long distances

I have the Baron's highway bars. They are great they saved my leg and my bike in a fight with a car at 40 mph. The car lost beleave it or not. Teach him to mess wit a R*. A Harley would have fallen over!

Don't know for sure. Might want to contact Memphis and ask.

I've still got a set of Yamaha engine guards (like on Cougars bike, low around the floorboards) that are designed to run pegs on that are used for sale. Need hardware(longer bolts, I bought them used off RSR that way), but otherwise OK. I paid 50 bucks shipped. If anyone is interested , give me a holler. BB

I have a set on Linby's on mine, excellent and puurdy to. They have built in foot rests that would be perfect if your short. I probably should put some pegs on them but I don't miss them - I'm 6ft.

$300 at Cruiser Customizing
