Check pilot jet, as mentioned before, float level....etc. When it blew back into the carb with enough force to move it off the manifold, you could have some debris blocking important circuts. The plugs might show black now, using the choke creates a rich environtment. I saw the video, sounds pretty ill. With all my experience with engines that are mildly modified, I've never "retarted" them. I'm just learning about thses twins, but you might have a svs because of running it like that. Ya got your hands full, but these people here have hours of experience! Good Luck!
