HP 4 Years, 9 Months ago
I have just bought a 2001 Roadstar Midnight 1600 from a good friend. Rejetted with pipes. What kinda rear wheel HP do you think this beast is putting out.
I traded up from a Honda Shadow ACE 750 Great bike but to small.
Thanks

WELCOME Craygun3 .......... This is where it all begins. I also have a 01 -> 1600 and didn't have a clue about bike. I gained a wealth of knowledge and confidence, now I'm able to twist my own wrenches. You'll be able to get all kind of help, and you'll find your not alone with any problems. I made the switch from a Goldwing to Roadstar and glad I did!
There great bikes and with the 01 just make sure you had the recall work done on the tranny. Good Luck and stay tuned!

Ok now I am curious. I have the following Mods; BAK, Baron SR ported intake. 1700 ignition module. I can get between 35-50 mpg depending on my twisting of the throttle. About what HP would you guess I am running 65-70?

You can probably get about 5 more with 2 to 1 exhaust system.

If you go the Speedstar Stage 3 setup you get about 80 HP but yea .... lotter time.
