do I need to re-jet ? 1 Year ago
At the moment I have Samson Rolled Thunder slip on's and the K&N intake. I had the Yamaha dealer install Dyna-Jet jets (sorry don't know or understand the set-up . I know they used a gas analyzer to aid in the tuning). The Samson’s scrape if turning hard - my wife hates that and my back get sore from her pounding me when that happens.
I have a opportunity to purchase a set of used Vance & Hines Longshots for a great price. Would I be safe just putting them on without re-jetting?

You should be ok since they did the jetting for the air kit. At the most, might be a slight adjustment to the pilot screw

Thanks Erbman. That's what I was hoping. At least I know I can drive it and check out the sound without worrying.

Thanks Map
