I don't understand why the need for the raked tree. Does a raked tree counteract the rear of the bike coming up cause of the trike kit? If I'm looking at the right thing at http://towpacusa.com/products/instatrike/ they say it maintains the ride height and no modifications are necessary. Is that just marketing talk? If I just dropped $3k on a kit I'd be pissed if I had to then change the tree just to make it stable.

My 6* raked trees were installed when the conversion was done. It wobbled bad at that same speed. I had the mechanic check the front tire and lift the front off the ground to check steering bearings. Tire was cupped real bad and aftermarket raked trees were just a tiny bit loose causing the whole front end to be loose.
New tire and tighten trees wobble is gone.
good luck
Rick

Re:Front end wobble with added trike kit 9 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi, I know I'm kind of late, didn't notice if wobble was fixed. My father had a 96 sportster with a voyager kit that wobbled around 50-55 mph. After ALOT of work on the front end,I checked the balance on the kit wheels. Once they were rebalanced the wobble was gone.Don't know if towpac wheels are large enough to throw things off, but it might be something to look at.
