New to forum and new Road* owner HELP w/ backfire 4 Years, 5 Months ago  
I just purchased a 2003 R* 2700mi. It has a cobra exhaust system and K&amp;N air filter. I don't know if it has been jetted. I would assume so since the bike has a custom paint job and looks like the previous owner put alot of $$$ into it. I picked it up as a salvage, so i am unable to talk to the owner. Here's the problem.... in the accident, one of the pipes got dented blocking about 25%, and when i let off the throttle, she backfires ONLY through that pipe. Is it because of the restriction? If so, any ideas on how to &quot;open&quot; the pipe back up? the PMS was out only 2&amp;1/8 turns, I now have it at 4&amp;1/2 turns out trying to stop the BFing.NO LUCK. Sorry for the long post.
