Did a search on it and found a few things but not the answer i was looking for. Gram is the only one I have seen using it and I was wondering if it has any performance advantages over the others.. I have the hypercharger, performance is fine, but as many here have said, it sticks out too far, well, it does.. Will the force cause the same situation or is it forward enough to be out of the way? I really like the way it looks but if that,s all you get, I'm not sure it's worth the extra bucks. (for me) Also, is it basicly just an elbow with an air filter on it, if so, a person could probably build one out of a conduit elbow and save a buck or two an inquiring mind wants to know thanks guys

Its a nice shiny polished aluminum elbow

No performance advantage unless you are using the standard hypercharger. It does not get in the way of my knee like the previous hypercharger did (32" inseam - 6' tall).

I got it because it complemented the look of the bike.

Well that pretty much covers it, Thanks Gram, I think I may try and build one just for grins. I spent quite a while in your gallery section just lookin around. Beautiful bike you got! The whole thing is very fluid and really fits together nicely..

Thanks flashback

I wish I could claim credit for the bodywork and paint, but that was done by a friend who works for a top custom builder in the south. Guy did great work!

But, he knew nothing about Road Stars (he was a Harley guy). I showed up with the bike and an armful of tech tips from the internet . He made me do those myself

I can claim the ideas, but he didn't always like them. He really struggled with cutting the front fender in half and welding another front half onto the back of it (he said it was a bitch to line up). The black jugs were his idea. I thought it was going to totally suck, but he said he would do it for free (this was the night before a bike show - took best of show - he was right ).

Best in show! awesome I bet you have some of those blue leds up under the tank too. I can imagine that welding two front fender sections together was a PIA. but it sure worked well
