Expert Boarder Posts: 417 Need new handlebars 1 Year, 4 Months ago   Hey Fellas, After about 60-70 miles of riding my right pinkie finger and ring finger start tingling and then get numb. I am 6'1,250 lbs. I have an Ultimate seat which pushed me forward a little, but it is better than the stock seat. I have the stock bars and risers. I am looking at maybe the Barons starbar, or Baron's Big Johnson handlbar. Is anybody else having problems with the stock bars or is it just me. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Platinum Boarder Posts: 3153 Re:Need new handlebars 1 Year, 4 Months ago   I put on the Yamaha medium risers it gives a 2 1/4 rise and a 1 1/4 pull back. That along with the Kuryakyn grips cure my numb hands but not sure how they would be without the throttle boss. I put two throttle bosses on one on each grip. I can rest my palm on the boss and lay my finger on the levers and rest my hand and still have control with my hands on the grips. I would highly recommend it. I am right about the same size as you, I have a Mustang seat which also puts me a bit forward. I find that the Big Johnson bar is perfect for my hands. If I sit on the bike and close my eyes and envision the perfect spot for my hands, that is exactly where the bar places them. I also have move the floor boards forward about 3". One issue I had with the bar was a slight blemish in the chrome just between the risers.
