I've saved my pennies for an internal setup but haven't found one for a metric setup.

Maybe for my next big project (need to repaint the frame) I'll relocate the brake to the pulley side and fab an internal seup.

I thought I'd give you a hand and check out my catalogs, PartsUnlimited, Drag Specialties, JP, RolandSands, etc.. You're right, none of the internal set ups are metric. I'd expect that when someone finally gets around to producing a metric version, it's gonna be at least 30 percent more than an HD part.

I really can't see anyone using a 65tooth.You would probaly max out the RPM range at 70mph.

I knew a guy who was running a 65 tooth Softail (95-99) pulley with a 130 tooth belt many years ago.

That's all the info I have.

Huh. I was thinking a smaller front pully would give faster acceleration but a smaller rear pully would give higher top end. I have always noticed how small the rear spockets were on a crotch rocket. Not that im looking for top end speed just wondering what that 65 tooth does for mpg and performance loss/gain

65 would give more top end over a 70 rear pulley

for the front lower the number quicker accel/lower top end.

Your right I was Ass backwards!

But then if you figure that right I'll bet you would be lugging the hell out of the bike trying to get off the line with a 65 tooth rear. Might be great if your always at highway speed on flat ground!
