Ape Hanger Help! 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Hey guys looking for answers about some ape hangers. Im wanting to get 14in apes with factory riser and run cables through bars. I need to know if theses will work with all my factory stuff. I added a link below for the bars im looking at they are dimpled so not sure if they will work. Also if you know of something cheaper this is the best deal I could find. Need suggestions for cable size also.

Thanks Shawn.

5star Please go to the introduction tab and introduce yourself and tell us about you and your bike. To answer your question yes they should work but I can't help you much with the cable length. Others with 14's will chime in I am sure.

5Star.

Looks like those will work just fine...

If I remember right, I had to go +4/+6 (depends on how you like the floppier look).

And, welcome to the clinic.

If you want to make a clean change over with no cable or wire changes use the 10' bars with factory risers. Basicly a bolt on .....Best of luck!

I can't pull ebay up here at work, but in the link it says for Harley which will put your dimples off from where they need to be for the R* cause I believe there's a 1" difference in the two.

You can make anything work. The hole and dimple at the controls won't work, your lever clamps will cover those. Drilling a new hole isn't a big deal. Anyone know if that's enough width at the center for stock risers? And depending on what year your bike is you may have to drill the bottom of your riser clamps.

Nice bars tho...love those red heads
