Got it I will try and get it cleaned up and sealed tomorrow and surface the flanges for you so it will seal better. You should pick up some Hylomar sealant at the auto parts store to seal it with and if you can afford it get new o-ring. It is 103 outside today so tomorrow is supposed to be cooler.

Curt, I was the one who sent that to you to use in any of your projects that may come your way. Can't think of a better project than helping someone else in need. Glad to see it go to good use!

I agree, this place is comes down to basics.... people helping people. (and drinking a lot when we have the chance)

I have a 1600 Nemesis that I bought that I am going to use for a casting if I can ever afford it so I figured I would pay it forward as onry needed it worse than I did. Just kind of payin it forward so to speak.

Curt, I hear the Nemissis is a much better manifold than the Ben Herr. It has to be better looking the Ben Herr is Butt Ugly!

But, I have to say when I 1st got the Solid Ben Herr the thing I noticed most was the Vibration from the engine because it is a solid metal. It make the bike have that Harley feel. I hate it. I am soooooo looking forward to the ported factory Intake.

Not sure I would spend time and money on a Solid Intake for a 1700 Just sayin.

Plus, its got to be hard to get the Carb end to fit and there goes air sucking problems like I have if that end is not finished where a Carb can be easily fitted to it.

I won't hold my breath Onry...
Methinks some body Screwed up!
Those things are $6.00 each, even on flEa-Bay.

At the price you payed, I would've bought
several sets as well. If you happen to get
lucky again let me know

In the meantime... Let's get your Ride Straight!
