You should pick up some Hylomar sealant at the auto parts store to seal it with and if you can afford it get new o-ring. It has to be better looking the Ben Herr is Butt Ugly! But, I have to say when I 1st got the Solid Ben Herr the thing I noticed most was the Vibration from the engine because it is a solid metal. It make the bike have that Harley feel. I hate it. I am soooooo looking forward to the ported factory Intake. Not sure I would spend time and money on a Solid Intake for a 1700 Just sayin.
