If dealer installed a larger main jet, that has no bearing while decelerating, at that point you are on the pilot ckt, all he did was to make you richer on the top end. You are better off not changing air jets, they also affect the vacuum pressure to draw fuel up thru the carb ckts.

If using modified stock pipes or after market pipes, the AIS needs to be removed.

You don't say if the K&N filter is in the stock housing or if it's a open filter. If it's an open filter then you need to do a full jetting, if in stock air box, could be as simple as a pilot screw adjustment.

Erbman02, I appreciate your input here; and I'm sure that you're probably right, but I don't know half of what you've described here. I've driven cars and ridden bikes all of my adult life, but I have no idea what makes them go other than gas and oil. LOL

I wish you lived next door. I'd pay you to go through it.

I'm going to have to go read up on these things, do some research, and get back to you.

Thanks, Tug!

I poked around and found that link in the Tech Articles and have just finished reading it. Doesn't look like anything complicated.

Appreciate the help!
