should i be ok 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago
i went to watch the dominant Alabama Crimson Tide play last night (34-0) RTR , anyway got stuck in traffic for close to an hour with maybe a 15 minute break where i shut the bike off , it still got really hot ( hotter than normal) , what are some signs if anything might have been damage from overheating. When we left tuscaloosa this morning , i didnt notice considerable difference in performace, rode 85mph all the way home, (145miles) , is there anything i should check or pay closer attention to in these situations a sound, smell, performance wise that might be a sign to shut her down for a break thanks

If you have good oil... (most do) and the bike was running fine even while hot and it runs well now... you've got little to worry about.

If I were concerned I would simply change my oil.... sometimes oil can be burned if overheated.....

Tommy, speaking of dominating teams. Did you see the Oklahoma/ Texas game? Ok spanked Texas like a 4 year old at K-mart!! I could not believe how bad they man handled them. I'm a die-hard Hog fan and we have already felt the wrath of the Tide, I'm just hoping we get better before we play LSU!!! As for your Roadie, if you're really concerened I would maybe just change the oil and ride it. It's probably not hurt at all.
