Hey folks,

I've got a question. I just recently purchased a used California carb.

It has a 'tube' at the bottom of it, just next to the carb heater. It's a 'vent' of some sort that empties into the throat of the carb. I 'understand' it's where the charcoal cannister hooks to for the California models.

Here's the question;

When rejetting, does this tube get plugged with a rubber vacuum plug, 'or', is it left 'open', with no plug?

Haven't put it on the bike yet, but am setting it up for an on-going project.
