It's not "what" you ride, it's "that" you ride.

I have tried my luck several times. With the windshield, fully loaded bags and a wife: 105mph. Fully loaded w/windshield, no wife: 105mph. Stripped down by myself, no bags, wife or windshield: 105 mph. Safe to say that 105 is a good average.

Re:Will roadstar go over 100? 4 Years, 8 Months ago
I was on GA 400 the other day and the "normal" flow of traffic was 90 and I had no trouble keeping up, but the wind in my face was massive (no windshield). There seemed to be plenty of horses still in the stable at that speed so I think my '04 would break 100. My question is: "Why would you want to go over 100 mph?"

This is a cruiser bike, not a crotch rocket or racer. I just don't think the engineering is there for much triple digit riding. If you're looking for speed maybe a trade to another kind of bike is in order.

Just my 2 cents (could be worth less, your value may vary).

Don't get me wrong I don't do 100 mph normally, but I do like to wind her out every now and then. I haven't grown up completely I guess

This is my HOT ROD so to speak and knowing what she is capable of is half the fun for me. You let a HD pull up beside me on the open road and no traffic and its on, that is if my lady isn't on the back.

3 reasons why not to find out.
1. If you crash and live IT'S GONNA HURT!
2. The ticket and points are a mother----er.
3. It's gonna cost someone something big time if it suddenly goes wrong.
Take it for what it's worth.

hello,...here in germany its completly legal to go fast on the highways,...
thats why i love our " autobahn " so much,...

to come back to your question,...a normal roadstar as mine, a 1600 from ´99 goes to the end of the speedo,...

i tested it on the autobahn and i read 190 kilometers per hour on my speedo,...i dont know the speed in Mph

100 mph are about 160 Kilometers per Hour,...thats a normal travelling speed in germany,...no big deal,...

regards from germany
