#432484 lemual (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 111 Bike won't go 7 Months ago   My 2005 Midnight Star won't move. The clutch engages, I am able to put the bike in gear and shift through the gears, and the speedometer shows how fast I am going. The bike won't move. It seems as if the engine is disengaged from the final drive or something. I was riding along and heard / felt something hit the bottom of my bike - it seemed like it may have been internal, but at the same time I thought I ran over debris. I stopped and checked everything, found nothing. Went for a ride and after 11 miles started to downshift and heard a buzzing/grinding sound then the bike rolled to a stop. The belt is tight. The bike rolls with no sounds different than usual. I know these bikes are magical, but speed indication? Do you have the bike on up on lift when you run through the gears?
