I have RaceTech straight rate springs and Gold valve cartridge emulators in my SV650. HUGE difference. When I get back from the Debt-Quest, I intend to go with straight rate and Gold Valve emulators on my Roadstar. Even though you do have to take them down to adjust, they are well worth it.
If you call in and talk to one of the techs before you get your stuff, they will steer you right. They are the first to tell you what settings should work best for your bike, weight, and how you ride. Had the Gold valves in the SV for the past 27000 miles, and have not felt like I needed to adjust.
Race Tech is a top-notch company with customer service above and beyond. They know most of what people try to do to fix low budget suspension. I told them I was going to install a 1996 GSX-R 750 rear shock on my SV. They told me about 2 things to check out on the install that saved me some problems. They got me the right spring rate for that shock on my bike, and even though they sell the service for a pretty steep price, they talked me through a teardown and flush out of the Gixxer shock, and even told me if I went from the 5wt that was in it to 7.5wt, I would probably not feel the need to re-valve. Awesome folks.

Thats what I wanted to here. You.cant tell by my current sig pic but my bagger takes a huge nose dive when I hit the brakes. So the weight of the fairing and me being 240 the forks need some help, lol. I was thinking progressive springs (lowered 2" because im gunna be running a 21" front wheel) and 7wt or 10wt oil and if I can get the extra cash I will spring for the emulaters. Good to know they can hook me up with a baseline preset by me giving some info to them.
