Most don't have to do anything but remove the two centering nubs on the carb side of the manifold and remove the spacer from the clamp.

Setting up and adding the TPS is a good idea and strongly encouraged.

Some have said they have issues with their Throttle and Choke cables, most however had no problems with them. I just had to figure what course to re-route them so they worked smoothly and didn't conflict with something else.

Got your Carb yet or still looking?

the 42hsr carb works fine, the 45 on a stock engine is a bit overkill. You will not gain anything more from the 45 vs the 42. The 42 works fine for up to a 108 big bore. Yes, there are a few that run the 45 on a stock engine, but as I said, there is no more benefit to it over the 42.

+1 on what has already been said. The choke cable will work using the enricher plunger from the HSR carb. If you buy a used one and it don't have a choke cable on it you will probably not have the plunger. The stock cables can be used with some mods for the cable bracket at the carb. The TPS mod would be a good thing to consider. It is a matter of making a bracket and mounting the TPS. And like any carb the jetting will need to be correct. But once you see what jets are in the carb you choose just post it and someone can give you a idea what to do with what you have. here is a pic of the TPS bracket and what I did for the OEM cable. (pull cable only)

It's not the thick one. It is from the other plate you sent me. Again thanks I did save the other for a template. maybe use it as a RSC template pass around

Not speaking from hearsay, the 42 will run the stock- 110 just fine,I have run both.Go with the TPS,If you are looking for plug & play

45's are good they work just as well as a 42 and are easier to find and cheaper in most cases. And if you ever go bigger in the engine then you already have a carb to handle it.
