25 or 30 bucks difference, The main reason I mention it is that Ricohoc may not be able to get them pre-made over there in Thailand...........

Thanks for that consideration, Flashback.

I'm sure that I can find someone to make them over here, but the language barrier is always a hindrance when it comes to technical stuff. I've gotten in the habit of bringing pen and paper and drawing, bringing the actual part when I can or bringing a picture from the Internet. Those things coupled with my only adequate ability with the language gets me over the top in most instances. Things get better every day as I find new sources for parts. Keeps a retired guy like me busy.

That said, I just got through looking at the MaxAir FlameWires and will probably pull the trigger in the next day or so. I've found a temporary source in the US who receives my packages and then ships them to me within 24 hours upon receipt of them. I get them in about 5 days through the USPS.

Max ships USPS, He ships 1st class so that he gets a tracking number to give you, about 40- 50 bucks. If you want to cut the shipping and go general mail he will do so,contact him. it will take longer for you to get the wires.I had to speak with him on the phone on another matter and I mentioned you. When you do the wires you should do the relay also,as mentioned the stock relay does not handle the amps flowing and restricts the current flow. If you have trouble with the shipping and buying parts PM me. I might be able to help.

Bill, I appreciate your help and assistance very much!

I'll let you know if I run into a snag.

One of the things that is rather unique over here is that Thai Customs likes to get all they can out of foreigners who live here. Anything addressed in English to a foreigner gets tagged for extra duty or a VAT. I end up paying for the part, almost the same cost of the item for international express mail, and another 100% of the cost of the item in Duty or a VAT.

My "helper" in the US who ships to me, uses a label printed in Thai addressed to my wife here. Those packages with that label have never been stopped once. I end up paying only for the postage instead of triple the cost of the item.

got my cable from a battery powered golf cart

+1 on the benefit of the relay and going from draining the battery to start up bliss.

Add me to the list of those with Max Air wires, Thunderfire HO starter, and wickedly strong Ballistic lithium battery. I have HC pistons. Recently I was having an issue with my clock and trip meter resetting on starts. I cleaned all my contacts but the issue persisted. I then went ahead and installed an aftermarket Warrior starter relay I had been holding for winter mods.

When I looked at my stock relay there was a good amount of corrosion and it was obvious that this was the point of resistance. With the new relay the starting is finally as powerful as others have described. I get quick crisp starts on the first crank now...finally...with no resets.

Hey Smoke. It's a definite winner. It's power and ability to quickly recover are definite pluses.

More companies are starting to make chargers for lithiums too. Ballistic has two versions of their own, one of which even monitors and charges each cell individually for max charging efficiency. TecMate also just introduced their Optimate Lithium with some nice features. A regular tender can also be used as long as their is an ability to disable or avoid the desulfation mode. With lithiums you can just disconnect them in the winter and they do not even need to be charged.

So, the battery delivers exactly what I needed in a strong reliable device. Now that it has proven itself I am going to do some wiring and routing changes this winter to take advantage of the extra space I now have in the battery box.

Just a question about adding the Max wires, if you were to change the starter relay with a Warrior relay do you consider the year of both the bike and the Warrior relay or will any Warrior relay do the job? My R* Silverado is a "00"
