#44209 DarekC (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 81 Need info on stage3 pipes 1 Year, 3 Months ago   Here I go again with more questions, I finished stage1 pipes and at least now I can hear some NOISE , having said that I wil want to go to stage3 (just don't have the cash for new pipes atthis time). So here are my questions. 1. What have you used to insert into the centre pipe that will allow you to twist it off and get it out? 2. With 07R* (that runs rich already) can I get away with this mod without rejet? 3. How does the sound compare between stage1 andstage3? FYI I used a 1 3/4" saw drill bit to takeout the cone, worked well. Thanks for all your support so far. I went to Shogun Classics after almost dropping one of the boys down my pants leg trying to break it free. But I know there are a few here that've successfully accomplished it. Need to move it back and forth until it releases and comes out. 2. Increasing airflow with either exhaust or air kit leans the bike out. It you have a stock air kit, it will be the limiter and probably won't have to do anything until you change it. Hopefully someone will chime in who has done it recently.
