You can run an R1 or R6 (or stock 1700); they are all 4 piston, or a YZF750 which is a 6 piston. The 6 piston is hard to find and very expensive. On the rear you already have a 4 piston so it's not worth changing out. You can also use an R1/6 rotor but you can't use the newer ones as the bolt pattern is different. I think they changed about 2003-04. The raked trees will increase the response inputs to steering so it becomes a bit more squirrelly. You will need to lower the rear or raise the front to bring the rake back to stock. You can also rake the neck 6* to bring it back to stock. I left the neck stock but went 4+ on the forks so my rake is very similar to stock. Doc   Logged     My Bike Website   The administrator has disabled public write access.
