V&H Longshots 1 Year, 2 Months ago

Here is the situation.

I have 07R*, bartish has a nice set of VH Longshots for sell (at a good price), so far so good

, the problem is they are part#18507 (that only fits 99-03 according to V&H website and tech line), yet a lot of pipes out there will fit both 1600s and 1700s, is there an easy way to fit them (V&H Longshots #18507) on my bike?????
or am I shit out of luck?

FYI Longshots HS, part#18511 will fit both old and new R*
